Could this be summer?

The weather has suddenly taken a turn for the better and it instantly makes me feel a lot better. A bit of sunshine and blue skies, what could be better? It’s also a great time to get out in the garden and play a bit of uke! The picture below was taken on Sunday while I did exactly that!

Uke in the Garden

This is the beginning of a busy time for me with Ukulele With Chris and I’m very excited. There are several courses coming up at Knuston Hall (a fantastic adult residential location) where you can learn to play from scratch in a day, across a weekend or develop your existing skills. There’s a new course about to start in Stibbington near Peterborough and then a starter session at the picturesque Stanwick Lakes in July (pictured below).

IMG_9201As well as all this going on I now have a Facebook page and Instagram account that you can join to find out what’s going on. It will soon feature useful ukulele tips and competitions and offers to help you get started with your playing.

Finally, there is a very exciting new way of learning with bespoke ukulele parties, hen or stag dos. You can design your very own package and learn to play with a group of friends (perhaps leading to a performance on the big day), have some custom made invitations and a photographic package to remember the whole day. Check out the bespoke parties tab at the top of the page!

So as the warm weather finally comes round, enjoy it and get out there with uke and play!
