Developing your Ukulele Skills

Stamford Arts Centre
Saturday 4 and 18 March 2017 – 10-12noon (2 Week course)

Stibbington Group
Aimed at players who have a basic knowledge of the Ukulele (e.g. basic chords of C, F, G, A, D), this fun and light-hearted course will help you develop and progress your skills. With a careful selection of songs, we will progressively move through new chords, strumming patterns and other techniques allowing you to develop your ukulele skills. By the end of the course you will feel more confident in playing your instrument and have had great fun jamming with the other players!

The course is aimed at people aged 16 and over.

You’ll need a ukulele for the session, a soprano or concert is recommended (concert is good if you have bigger hands and fingers). Alternatively you can hire a uke from me for an additional £10, if you wish to do this please let me know in advance (at time of booking) so I can ensure there is one available for you on the day

The two week course costs £30, ukulele hire is available for an additional £10 (this must be booked in advance). If booking through me, a £15 deposit will be needed to secure your place.

Booking is available through me via the book online page or directly through Stamford Arts Centre
