Ukulele for Beginners
Saturday 21 and 28 May – 10.30-12 Noon (2 Week course)
A 2 week course made up of 2x one and a half hour sessions for absolute beginners that will get you playing this fun instrument in no time at all. We’ll start from the very basics of how to hold the instrument then move on to playing your first chords and songs. From there we’ll progress to expanding your chord knowledge and I’ll show you how to strum allowing you to play more songs. By the end of this short course, you’ll have learnt the most commonly used chords and then put them to work in some catchy and fun songs.
Please note that you will need to bring your own ukulele with you and you must be aged 16 or over. For help choosing a ukulele see the other pages on this site – a soprano or concert is recommended.
Booking is available through Stibbington Community Classes.
