Raunds Ukulele Orchestra and A Different Direction Choir are proud to announce their first joint concert in aid of Cransley Hospice. The two Raunds-based groups will be performing under the direction of Chris Gammon at the Saxon Hall on Saturday 12 March at 7pm.
The programme is set to be full of the exciting and uplifting music typical of both groups. The ukes will perform their catchy new repertoire along with a few old favourites; Different Direction will sing a mix of a capella and accompanied songs.
The focus of the evening is to raise as much money as possible for Cransley Hospice. Tickets are £7 each and on sale from late January.
During the evening there will be an exciting auction of favours – where people kindly donate their time or expertise to the highest bidder – as well as other exciting prizes, all led by auctioneer Andrew Wager. Bring some cash so you can join in the fun. There’s also a raffle and refreshments during the interval!
Tickets are available from Raunds Post Office, from either of the groups, or by phoning 01933 626113. If you’re unable to attend but would like to support the event you can donate raffle prizes or items/promises for the auction. Contact us using the details below.
See you on March 12th!
