Individual/Group Lessons

Have you ever wanted to learn to play the ukulele?

C and N 10 webThis could be the ideal chance for you. Learning to play a new instrument is somuch fun, and the beauty about the ukulele is that you can be playing your first tune within about 15 minutes of tuition.

There are various teach-yourself options out there, but there is nothing quite like having a tutor to show you what to do. It is worthwhile having lessons to make sure you don’t pick up any bad habits and learn in the best way possible.  My students love  how quickly they make progress when learning with me.

With individual or paired lessons you get lots of attention and personalised learning which will help you make the quickest start to developing a new skill.

It’s up to you how many lessons you want and you can learn at your own pace. I usually start by showing you basic chords and strumming techniques and then apply these to simple familiar songs. From here we can move on to learning more chords, or learn to play that song you really want to be able to do! Another popular option is to learn to play from tab so you can pick the tune. Lots of people take up lessons so that they can join my Ukulele Orchestra in Raunds. New members always welcome!

The emphasis during the lesson is always to have fun. There’s never a dull moment when learning to play the uke, even during the hardest bits we’ll both be smiling

I teach in Raunds, East Northants. Private half hour lessons cost £12 or an hour for £20. If there is a group of you who would like to learn that’s even better, contact me for more information about group prices.
